Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower  – DON’T LOSE THIS RECIPE!!! #chicken #yummy #recipe

Ingredients

  • For the cauliflower
  • 4 cups cauliflower bouquets - Each should measure approx. the size of two small carrots, if you put them side by side.
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs mixed with 1 teaspoon sea salt - I wouldn't use regular salt here. The grains of sea salt are larger and add a little extra crunch to the breading.
  • For Buffalo coating
  • 1/4 cup melted vegan butter - 1/4 cup after melting
  • 1/4 cup Vegan Buffalo Sauce - Check the ingredients for the butter. I used Frank's Red Hot
  • To soak
  • vegan mayo - Cashew Ranch, or your favorite creamy vinaigrette

Instructions

  • Melt the vegan butter in a cup in the microwave, then stir in the buffalo sauce.
  • Holding by the stem, dip each floret in the butter / buffalo sauce mixture, obtaining most of the florets coated with sauce. It is good if a bit of the stem does not become sassy. Hold the finial on the cup until it stops flowing. A few drops are OK, but if it rains, your panko will become lumpy and stop sticking too.
  • Slide the floret soaked in the panko / salt mixture, coating as much as you want, then place it in the air fryer. No need to worry about a single coat. Just place it in there.
  • Fry at 350F (do not preheat) for 14-17 minutes, shaking gently several times (see note), and checking their progress when you shake. Your cauliflower is cooked when the florets are a little golden.
  • Serve with the dip of your choice.
