Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes

ingredients


  • ½ cup of salted butter
  • 6 oz (3/4 cup) semi-sweet chocolate (chopped or chopped)
  • 3 big eggs
  • ¼ cup of crystallized sugar
  • 1/8 c. At sea salt tea
  • ½ teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • 1 TBS flour *


Instructions


  • If you are baking immediately: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  • Grease four silicone molds and place them on a baking sheet. Put aside.
  • In the microwave or on the stove over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate and stir until the mixture is smooth. Put aside.
  • Place the eggs in the bowl of your blender standing and beat for 1 minute or until they are pale yellow.
  • Add the sugar and sea salt to the beaten eggs and beat until the sugar dissolves (about 1 minute).
  • Add the chocolate mixture and vanilla extract and beat until smooth.
  • Beat the flour until everything is well combined.
  • Pour the dough evenly into 4 silicone molds. **
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the dough is inflated and the center is barely defined (it will not look finished but it does).
  • Remove from the oven and let the cakes rest on the baking tray in the silicone cups for 2 to 5 minutes.
  • Return the cakes to the plates on which you plan to serve them.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream, a pinch of caster sugar, fresh berries, etc.
