 No-Bake Classic Woolworth Cheesecake

ingredients

  • 1 lemon jelly 3 oz-0
  • 1 cup of boiling water
  • 1 more can of graham cracker crumbs for a thicker, divided crust
  • 1 stick of melted butter
  • 1 8oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 can evaporated milk, well refrigerated or 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • Get the ingredients powered by chicory

Instructions

  • Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Let cool until slightly thickened.
  • Mix 3/4 crumbs of graham crackers and the melted butter until homogeneous, press the bottom of the mold 9 X 13 to form a crust. Keep the rest of the crumbs to sprinkle on the dessert.
  • Beat the evaporated milk / heavy cream until frothy.
  • In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Add thickened Jell-O and mix slowly into the whipped evaporated milk.
  • Spread the filling on the crust and sprinkle with Graham cracker crumbs on top.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours and overnight, keep covered in the refrigerator.
